Random Joe Sketch
I've been getting a number of requests on this blog about the whereabouts of Joe Paradise. Thanks to everyone who still holds a candle for the show! I recently ran across this old sketch that my pal Heiko Drengenberg, one of the animators from Season 2, did for fun. This sketch was part of a running gag the team had playing on Joe's name. I have a whole box worth of "never-before-seen" stuff so hopefully I'll be able to share more with you guys soon!

Nice image. Heiko did some of the best stuff on the second season of Joe Paradise.
I wonder how badassed we can make Joe Paradise look now with all our flash experience under our belt?
The legendary Joe Paradise. If only there was an action figure line... I'd be waiting outside in front of Toys R Us right now waiting for the latest shipment.
I seem to recall a totally redunkulous original maquette sculpted by the same Heiko that did this sketch. If only there were pictures somewhere, so I could prove it wasn't just a dream...
Now that's just hitting below the belt...because you weren't dreaming, and I'M going to have to post them now!

Yeah, I have heard of this fabled Joe Paradise maquette over the last few years but have yet to see any images of it. Perhaps it is all an illusion.....

Unbeliva-freaking-awesome. Only, how do you get the side view to look like the front view cut-in-half with the 3D maquette?
That was always a hard part to get my head around... but it was still cool!
