Erin's Got a Big Head

How ironic would it have been if I had crashed my car while trying to take this photo?

101-S (CA)

And somewhere in Pennsylvania...

Fantastic! Roll with the punches I say. Take Erin on as many rides as you can over at Ghostbot. A couple weeks ago I was having breakfast with my folks and they said to me, "have you seen these commercials? I bet you'd like 'em - they're "cartoony"...

Just goes to show that a lot of people are noticing. Esurance should be pleased as punch.

By the way, thank's fer stoppin' by :)

I almost ran into a bus with an Esurance ad on it once! Ironic indeed.

Boob.... thanks for visiting. Yes I think Esurance is loving the national hype.

Stephen... We did not make the billboard images (We'd love to if we had the opportunity). We just provided the vector flash assets to the client and they do their thing.

I was so surprised when I saw the billboard that I had to turn around and drive by again so that I could take that picture.

The Esurance people seem to be really happy with the campaign. So we'll keep making them if they keep calling!

And if we ever got a chance to design these billboards, we were talking about designing them like larger than life movie posters!

Hi, It's Kristin over at Esurance who works on the Erin campaign. We are pleased as punch.

We did "movie posters" in SF last year around July. They were pretty sweet.

That being said, on our most recent foray into the outdoor universe, though Erin's head is large due to the size of the placement, I can assure you that her ego remains in check. She's still just your average gal who works as an insurance agent by day and a special agent by night. ;)

One note of caution: please do not get in any accidents while attempting to photograph Erin. As an auto insurance company, we encourage folks to drive safely. :)

Stay tuned!!! Some of the up coming stuff is pretty cool, thanks to Ghostbot, Wild Brain, our own internal folks, and everyone else who works on this gig!

Wow Kristen!

Thanks for dropping into our humble blog.

For my own safety, I'll make sure to cover my eyes next time I drive by an Esurance billboard.... oh wait...

Thanks for stopping by Mom! When I see ads that we work on at Ghostbot end up on giant billboards it makes me think all of those hours spent drawing GI Joe and Star Wars battles were all worth it. Even if they weren't, those were some awesome battle drawings.

See you soon Mom!

I haven't seen any billboards like that, but today on the way to MathLab I saw a big ol' RV with a picture of Erin the Esurance mascot on the front of it - it was sitting outside Texas A&M's Memorial Student Center. I wondered what it was doing there. It had the word "Parachute" on the side of it.
