Joe Painter

As I was messing around with Painter an old friend resurfaced:

I haven't drawn Joe in a long time so it was interesting to see the different choices I subconsciously made in this new rendition. I think I have to keep practicing...

I really like it Roque! I remmember seeing this short... Did it go on tv in an animation festival before? I feel like ive seen it on tv. Btw, this is irrelevant, but where can i watch the entire music video you did for Five Iron Frenzy? Its not on their site. And, are you guys gonna make another scary girl promo? I really liked the one you made! -Steve

Thanks for the encouragement, guys!

Stephen - As for FIF, I'm working on getting the entire video out there, hopefully sooner than later. And we'd love to work on another Scarygirl project, or any Nathan project for that matter. Check out these 3D shorts of his Mini Treehouse characters HERE.

Roque, Nathan's style is soo original and so nice to look at. The 3d thing looks pretty good, but he needs full length episodes or something for that. His scary girl designs are amazing! I loved that scarygirl promo and would LOVE to see another one esp made by you guys. He told me they're working on a movie and also on the scarygirl website it says movie coming soon, but its still in develpoment. I told him you guys should animate it but its still in the development process and they dont know if theyre going to use flash for this project. If they did and you guys animated it, I would love watching it over and over and over and over again! Your work is amazing! Im a flash animator myself and just admire how great you guys work! For the FIF after watching that clip amillin times i decided to get the song and I love em! When I finish my promo ( inspired by your scary girl promo) I'll send you a link to it if you guys are interested. Thanks Roque, I'll talk to you soon!

SNAP! That brings me back. Very cool image Roq. Considering how much we've learned over the years, it would be so awesome to do an episode of Joe again.

I'm a sucker for Mr. Paradise... Like every other person on the planet, I've always loved the design of both him and the show.

I am still completely in love with Joe Paradise.

Sooooo........ can we possibly see the entire flash series up anywhere- like one ep every week? *hopeful* Or how about that DVD set idea.

(I don't know that it'll ever happen, but a girl can still dream, right?)

My question is, how does Joe breathe if he doesn't have a nose?
