Erin's City
Esurance has taken over San Francisco. Everywhere I turn these days I see this pink-haired cutey looking over my shoulder:
Outside the Embarcadero
Inside the Embarcadero
At the bus stop
On the side of the bus
Completely covering the bus
Dominating the Jiffy Lube

You gotta give it to the prolific Esurance marketing team - they know how to advertise. With all that MUNI coverage, you'd think they'd insure buses as well...

I haven't posted here yet though I am subscribed to your blog and visit it frequently to look for inspiration.
You must feel so proud when you see work that you have been part of displayed everywhere.
I bet you have pointed it out to somebody like, "Hey you, look, I did that!
I know I do it often.
Congrats.

yeah! you guys always pop im my head when walk around town..why ?...LOL
Ha ha, that'd be a real buzz to see characters you've designed all over the city!!
I love the Esurance commercials! So it was you who made them, eh?
Cool! Next we're gonna see evidence of smash-n-grabs of those bus stop Erin posters...
Wow, I wish we had those ads here in New Jersey. I love seeing cartoon ads, and I love the Esurance commercials, so it just goes hand in hand!
Hi! I´m writting from Madrid (Spain). I think that your commercials are a very great example of good flash animation.
keep on doing it, please!
I´m glad too, that you have recovered the episodes of Joe Paradise for the blog, pure diamonds on the web!
See you!

Congratulations Alan! I've been in SF a lot lately and have definitely been spotting your pink-haired cutie! Super sweet!
That's so flippin rad! Oh and the baseball E surance spot it out of control georgous. It's my favorite spot so far. Keep kicking ass you guys.
Oh my god.
I can't believe it's happening.
jorge: It's pretty great. Surreal, but great.
sho: I think it's our uncanny ability of humming repetitive songs...
mukpuddy: One day I rode the bus and literally walked inside of Erin's head. Try and figure that one out.
clinton: We were hired by Wild Brain at the very beginning to do the very first Esurance commercial. About 10 spots later, here we are. Now a number of studios are producing the spots at the same time.
chris: I don't think we're going to see much of that since we have the R2D2 Mailboxes to compete with!
niko: Maybe it's because NJ drivers are crazy! Go Cherry Hill!!
jambo: Thanks! Fun blog!
martin: Beware of her stare...
shane: Thanks, Shane! We worked on the first baseball spot. There's another one (the "Take Me Out To the Ballgame" one) that was done by another studio.
clio: Next time you cruise into town, let us know!
anonymous: Whatever "it" is it sounds scary. RUN!!
Thats really nice, and quite dizzying when you see your character emblazoned across unusual places. Remember first time I saw BOB THE B on the side of a bus, I physically fell over :-D
Wow, awesome stuff!!! Congrats
Wow! That's gotta be an amazing feeling to look around and see the character YOU created every where. Although, I'll have to admit that whenever I do see the commericals on TV, I usually stop to watch because I liked the art style of them and how they were animated. It almost seems like Erin should have her own animated shorts somewhere outside of doing commericals.
Okay, Roque-- I found this most excellent one on Flickr. You are officially a part of pop culture now.
Here, do a search for Erin on Flickr.
Won't be long before she's projected on an SF fog bank over head. Simply great you guys!
soooooooooo sick of seeing this character...
That's cool! I'll have to keep an eye out for them in LA, they must be out here somewhere too!
(my word verification was PEE ibkh,
no kidding.)
Congratulations, Roque! All the commercials are so great. You make me want to move to SF...and the city. The city itself si pretty cool too.
