E3 2005 hilights
I had the pleasure of being the Ghostbot representative at E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo. It was a feast for the eyes and the brain for sure with brand new systems being shown (PS 3, XBOX 360, Nintendo Mini-Gameboy), tons of new games and a plethora of babes dressed up as your favorite video game characters. Simply put, it’s a little piece of gomer heaven.
Of the playable games, I was most impressed with Capcom’s Okami. It's a crazy brush paint action game developed by Clover the creators of Viewtiful Joe.
Also I was really excited to see "We Love Katamari". It’s the sequel to the off the wall Katamari Damacy where you spend the game rolling up everything in your path into a giant ball of stuff. It’s innovative and slightly insane….. Just the way I like my games!
Also plenty of sequels like Final Fantasy XII, Metal Gear 4, Onimusha 4 and Soul Calibur 3 were there to wow the audience.
The best CG of the show goes to Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, which was just positively insane. It’s a CG movie done by the amazing folks at Square. It’s premiering in Japan this September and follows the aftermath of fan favorite FFVII .
