Bloggoween

Still trying to figure this blog thing out... (can you tell I'm still weirded out by the term "blog"?)

Speaking of which, spent a fun Halloween with my niece (the "Princess") and nephew (the "Pea"). Found out that their father is going to Bloggercon in November. (I don't know if that's anything like San Diego Comic Con, but I'm sure there's bound to be blogging Klingons and Jedi...) He was nice enough to link to this blog and give me some more insight into the world of blogging culture. Sounds like something one could easily get sucked into...

Current CD I'm listening to: Shawn McDonald: Simply Nothing
"...a sophisticated blend of organic instrumentation, such as nylon guitar, cello, violin, and harp, mixed with hip-hop sensibilities and a passionate flowing lyric."

Nice little article on the ever-popular Happy Tree Friends and our pal, Kenn Navarro.

Be ye opened, can of worms...

Thought I'd post it to make an official declaration: What if one of the things posted on our blog was a gallery of Ghostbots from different artists?

oooooooooooooooooooooo...

So we have a blog...now what?

Funny how all the hype and anticipation of setting up the can-you-believe-we-thought-of-this-name "Ghostblog" Punch Pants and I'm a little stumped about what to write about. For example the blog-sites that I normally frequent are updated often and contain info that we couldn't even begin to compete with. Take for example the always up-to-date and ever-informative Cartoon Brew or the quirky commentary at the FWAK! blog. I think that's part of the draw of the internet: the constant influx of new info. At least, that's why I keep going back.

So what can we talk about? What do we have to offer? Thoughts: the day-to-day ongoings of Ghostbot (i.e. what it's like to work as a run-n-gun animation studio), new things we discover running our own company (like tonight - filing 1099s and that XCEL is a program that was originated by Klingons), our own commentary on the animation world (gotta be careful about that one because someday we might have to work for these people), daily entertainment rants ("The Grudge"/"Ju-On USA" = never answer the cry of a baby stuck in a taped up closet of a haunted house). The big question is will anyone care? Or will this be doomed to be read by 3 people who can't sleep before 2 am. Time will tell I guess.

Or we can just post cool shameless jpgs:

amazing!

Can this be the spectacular waste of time we were hoping for? You betcha!

testing

Holy cow...is this actually working? Have I opened a can of worms that shouldn't be open? Curse your ease, blogger.com...curse you.
