Flying Cat's Out of the Bag

Toys! Toys! We love toys! We love them so much, we hooked up with Hong Kong-based Flying Cat to see if we have what it takes for the toy industry.

Flying Cat just launched its long-awaited website (built by the talented folks at Soap Creative) filled with all sorts of goodies from it's international roster of designers. Check out the chops of Nathan Jurevicius (who's Scarygirl fanfilm we posted here), TADO, Jon Burgerman and Tokyo Plastic to name a few.

So what's cooking for Ghostbot? Time will tell but all I know is I've had to get bigger sleeves... We've been working on our Flying Cat project for awhile now so hopefully it'll be worth the wait!

Six Scoop Sketch: "Mammoth Jester"

This week marks the first week our sketches were born on Cintiq (separate post about these lovelies to come soon...)! What better way to stretch our six-scoop wings than with the widest member of our illustrious entourage: Mammoth Jester!

El Manana esta aqui

We at Ghostbot love Gorillaz. Check out their latest video “El Manana”. It’s the poster with a gloomy image of Noodle located next to the Ticket Booth guy on the Kong studios site.

Password is ELBANANA.

It always gives me a warm fuzzy feeling to see beautiful 2- D animation. There is a lot of swell 3-D in here as well. Check it out!

Robot Cowboys don’t need pants

It’s always good times to animate Evil Robot Cowboys in a national commercial. Special thanks to ultra sassy creative Kristen for dreaming up this awesome stuff.

Here is a rough pass of our Robot Esurance buddy done by Roque and cleaned up by all-star Kris Toscanini.
